1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic ("BPC", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. We may update these terms from time to time, and the most current version will always be available on our website.

2. Services

Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic provides professional physiotherapy services from our clinic in Hove, South Australia. Our services include physiotherapy assessments, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, injury prevention, exercise prescription, and other evidence-based physiotherapy services as offered by the clinic.

3. Appointments

Appointments may be made by telephone, email, in person, or through our online booking system.

Patients are encouraged to arrive a few minutes prior to their appointment to complete any required paperwork if necessary. If you are running late or unable to attend, please notify the clinic as soon as possible.

Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic welcomes patients attending under a range of funding arrangements, including:

  • Private health insurance

  • Medicare – GP Chronic Condition Management Plans (GPCCMP)

  • WorkCover

  • Motor Vehicle Accident (CTP) claims

  • Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

Where applicable, patients are responsible for ensuring valid referrals, approvals or claim details are provided prior to their appointment.

4. Fees and Payment

Payment is required at the time of your appointment unless alternative arrangements have been approved.

Consultation fees vary depending on the type of appointment and funding arrangement. Current fees are available upon request.

Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic accepts EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard and cash. HICAPS claiming is available for most participating private health funds, allowing eligible patients to claim their rebate immediately at the time of payment.

Patients remain responsible for any gap payment or fees not covered by their insurer or funding body.

5. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, or failure to attend without notice, may incur a cancellation fee at the discretion of Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic.

6. Privacy and Confidentiality

Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

Personal and health information is collected, used and stored solely for the purpose of providing appropriate healthcare and managing your treatment. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.

7. Code of Conduct

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful and professional environment for patients, staff and visitors.

Aggressive, abusive, threatening or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where behaviour compromises the safety or wellbeing of our staff or other patients.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos and other materials, is the property of Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic unless otherwise stated and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No material may be copied, reproduced or distributed without prior written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to provide high-quality, evidence-based healthcare, Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic accepts no liability for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our services, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.

Patients are encouraged to discuss any concerns regarding their treatment with their treating physiotherapist.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided by Brighton Physiotherapy Clinic shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
